Children's Play Areas
There are currently four, purpose built, children's play areas
on Elvetham Heath; with one to more follow.
Play area 1 - The Key
- Senior Play area
This play area, designed for ages 6 years and upwards, is
located beside the community centre. It has the following
activity sections:-
- Climbing frame
- Activity centre
- Practice basket ball hoop
- Skateboard ramp

Play area 2 - Mounts way
- Junior Play Area
This play area, opened in November 2001, has a nautical theme,
and is located in Mounts Way, in front of Blenheim Court. It has
the following activity sections:-
- Swing seats for toddlers
- Slide

- Twyford Close - Junior Play Area
This play area opened in
2004 and has the following activity sections:-
- Swing seats for toddlers
- Slide

Play Area 4
- Giffard Lane, in proximity to railway footbridge -Junior Play
Area
The play area, opened late 2005,
has a railway theme, and is located at the base of the Elvetham
Heath footbridge in Giffard Lane. It has the following activity
sections

Swings

| Play Area 5-
The last of the five play areas at
Elvetham Heath will be provided towards the south side of the
nature reserve near the fenced cattle corral.
Following confirmation of the specification requirements for the
play area, a suitable contractor will be appointed to complete
the construction during 2006.
